Kenosha Wrestling Club is pleased to announce that Mike Lopez has accepted the Head Coaching position for the program!
His wrestling qualifications and experience will be a great addition to our team. He is dedicated to bringing his high level coaching skills and intensity into our wrestling room.
Mike grew up in Libertyville, Illinois and started wrestling in 7th grade for Highland Middle School and the Wrestling Factory. He went to Libertyville High School and then Luther College in Decorah, Iowa where he majored in Accounting. He then went on to coach High School wrestling at Libertyville for a year and then UW-Parkside, where he is starting his 3rd season as Asst. Coach. Some of his hobbies, other than wrestling, include deer hunting and fly fishing. Here are some of his qualifications:
