Kenosha Tremper High School Wrestling Program – Varsity & JV Program

In 2021-2022, the Tremper Wrestling Team completed another successful season.  The Varsity Team compiled a dual record of 16-11. At the SEC Conference Tourney, the  Trojans placed top four as a team and had 2 conference champions in Rory Dutton and  Jackson Henderson, along with runner-ups Landen Gontscharow and Jeffrey Hines.

At the WIAA Regional tourney, Tremper finished Regionals with seven wrestlers qualifying for the WIAA Sectional Tournament. Rory Dutton, Tyler Hansen, and Landen Gontscharow wrestled well at the WIAA Sectionals and placed in the top four, but fell just short of qualifying for the WIAA State Tourney. Jackson Henderson and Colin Nitsch completed outstanding days at the sectional and both qualified for the WIAA state tournament.

Jackson and Colin wrestled well in Madison, but did not place at the tourney. Great job to the both of them as they represented Tremper well.

Likewise, the Tremper Junior Varsity Team equaled the success of the varsity team in the dual meets wrestled. Many individuals finished with major individual improvements.
